Handled Aluminium Straight Edge for Levelling and Screeding Control
This straight edge tool is manufactured from a 75mm × 40mm aluminium section with detachable bolt-on tubular handles, giving users a ready-handled option for levelling, screeding and ruling off. It is a good choice where improved grip and control are preferred over a plain straight edge section.
The two aluminium tubular handles are fully welded and bolt onto the straight edge, helping the user apply more even pressure and maintain control across the working surface. Each handle is 35cm long and made from 30mm diameter aluminium tube, while the detachable design makes transportation and storage easier.
The straight edge section is extruded to British tolerance for straightness, checked on our test beam before dispatch and fitted with impact-resistant plastic end caps. This makes it a practical option for trades who want a compact-section straight edge with dedicated handles already included.

We have been hit by courier increases constantly for the last 18 months and now we only have one carrier who will ship our straight edges over 3m.
We do not make a single penny on carriage, in fact a lot of the time we actually lose money.
We are constantly trying to get shipping rates down and we immediately reduce our charges online.
We thank you for your support and hopes this goes a long way to explaining the reasons for the shipping rates if you feel they seem unreasonable.

A1 very good price
I needed a square, strong T bar for cutting boards. Reviewing the mainstream suppliers, there was loads of products that are 'not square', out by several mm over their length, or made of poorly constructed materials. The Toough Tools T square is about double the price but it is worth it. Delivered quickly and very well packaged, the square is definately square over its full-length. It's made of heavy duty aluminium with strong riverts, a helpful handle on the vertical to aid in positioning, and very clear units in metric and imperial. I'm really pleased with the product and service and am confident this will be a robust and accurate tool for years to come.

Purchased a Mixing Bucket 35 ltr HEAVY DUTY. This is a wide bucket (some may refer to it as a tub). Needed it to stay outside in all weathers collecting water from the roof of my greenhouse. It has proved to be very strong and easy to manage with two handles. This company gives "old fashioned" outstanding service as they contacted me fast to offer me an alternative when the bucked ordered was sold out. Descriptions or products are precise and well thought out.
Top stands and speedy delivery !
I bought three mid-level spot stands and five boards, and the quality is excellent. They’re solid, well built, and exactly what I needed. The only small improvement I’d suggest is adding something to stop the boards from moving on the stands, but aside from that they’re spot on. Delivery was quick, everything arrived in perfect condition, and I’m already thinking about ordering more. A definite 5-star purchase.
