Our aluminium straight edge tools are designed for accurate levelling, checking and screeding across a wide range of construction trades. Available in a choice of section sizes and lengths, including extra-long straight edges up to 6 metres, the range includes lightweight and heavy-duty options to suit different applications.

Used by plasterers, builders, bricklayers, flooring contractors and other trades, our straight edges are suitable for concrete screeding, industrial flooring, plastering, rendering and general construction work. Selected models are also available with handles for improved control and easier handling.

Choosing the Right Straight Edge Tool

The right straight edge depends on the job, required length and level of rigidity. Lighter aluminium sections are easy to handle and well suited to plastering, rendering and general levelling work, while heavier-duty sections provide increased rigidity over longer spans and for demanding construction applications. Our range includes multiple section sizes and lengths, making it easier to select a straight edge suited to both the trade and scale of the job.

Heavy Duty & Extra Long Straight Edges

For large areas and applications where rigidity is important, our heavy-duty aluminium straight edges are available in extended lengths, with selected sections reaching up to 6 metres. These longer tools are particularly useful for concrete, flooring, screeding and construction work where a consistent level needs to be maintained across a greater distance. Different aluminium profiles allow you to balance weight, strength and ease of handling.

Straight Edges for Plastering, Screeding & Construction

Straight edges are used across numerous trades for checking, levelling and finishing surfaces. Plasterers and renderers use them to flatten and rule material, while flooring and concrete trades use longer, more rigid sections for screeding and checking levels. They are also a useful general-purpose tool for bricklaying, joinery and construction where a long, accurate reference edge is required.
